ORIGINS YORK STORE EVENT WITH EM SHELDON

I've had the pleasure of meeting one of my favourite bloggers Em Sheldon a few times now. She's very down to earth and is so supportive of new bloggers. What was really nice was meeting everybody else who attended, especially since a lot of them are Yorkshire bloggers - a rare find! I was sooo excited that there was an event going on right round the corner in my home town.

Origins is a skincare brand that focuses on natural plant-based ingredients. I'm really really picky on what I use on my skin since I used to have acne and it's only cleared up fairly recently, but by no means is it perfect. I have oily/combination skin, but my acne treatment makes it pretty dry so its kind of a nightmare to cater for. I love anything moisturising and its fair to say I'm pretty addicted to face masks.

The event was held in their brand new store on Stonegate in York and its honestly so cute, we were all commenting on how lovely it is inside with all the decor, super relaxing. All green and white and gold in this cute old building, very York! We had drinks from The Botanist too and I was drinking a cocktail out of a plant pot  - classic botanist. Everybody had a go with treatments and it was lovely to meet the Origins team as well as they all really know their stuff when it comes to skincare and the ingredients.

We got a lil goody bag of Origins treats (its only been a day and I've already tried half of it) including their charcoal mask. The black masks going viral are something that really scare me but this product is much kinder to skin. I've just rinsed it off and first thing I noticed is how soft my skin feels. its a yes from me. Then went on with their Ginzing Ultra-hydrating cream which smells BEAUT. The common theme of the evening was everything smelt amazing.

I'll definitely be popping in again so stay tuned on my Instagram to keep up to date! They have lots of exciting things ahead. Go give them a follow too @originsuk

Thank you for reading! xxx

  2. Considering the professional side of corporate events NYC, event management is a glamorous and exciting profession that requires a lot of hard work and enthusiasm. But only a few universities offer diplomas in event management and organizational skills.
