During my internship in London, I was staying minutes away from Westfield London in Shepherd's Bush, and being the shopaholic I am, I basically moved in. So today I returned to my home-from-home for their On Trend Event. I read about this in Cosmopolitan, since Westfield partnered with them, Elle and Esquire to bring a range of brands coming together for a catwalk show and more. (Top photo: Next's Outfits)

We went for the 1pm catwalk show, it was fairly busy but we bagged a seat to see the brands of Westfield London including Topshop and Topman, Next, Monsoon and House of Fraser showcase their outfits.

The show was really well put together - I wasn't sure what to expect but it didn't feel like being in the middle of a shopping centre at all! It was a flashy set up with LED screen and seating an programmes for everyone, a well choreographed catwalk show, it lasted around 25 mins and me and my friend Kirsty really enjoyed it.

The shows start on the hour every hour from 12pm. This event is only for 2 more days until the 17th - it moves to Westfield Stratford next week - so if you're around it's definitely worth popping by. There was also a prosecco bar, and Accessorize were customising jewellery. Lots of stores had offers on for the event too.

Each magazine had a hub set up with beauty brands to show off - Dyson were also sponsoring the event so you could go and get free blowdries. It was pretty busy though so we didn't wait around for one - I suggest going for 12pm if you'd like one. There was also make up by Mac, Sleek and Charlotte Tilbury to be had, manicures and hand massages. The woman from Rituals was lovely and told us all about their products!
